Upgrading

Choose Upgrade in the sidebar, or Upgrade to Premium on the Billing page. The Upgrade page shows the same comparison with how much of each Free limit you're using.

  • Premium starts with a 5-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
  • Pay monthly or yearly. Prices include GST, and payment is handled securely by Stripe.
  • Premium switches on as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, usually within a minute.
  • If Premium isn't open yet, choose Notify me when it launches and we'll email you.

Managing or cancelling

Manage billing opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change your card, switch between monthly and yearly, see invoices or cancel. If you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

If a payment fails, OurHouse tells you on the Billing page and gives you a few days to update your card before Premium ends.

Going back to Free

Nothing is deleted when you go back to Free. If you have more than Free includes. Say, more saved searches or commute addresses. The Billing page asks you to choose what to keep. The rest are paused: they stay in your account but stop sending alerts or working out commute times. Upgrade again and everything comes back.

Free Premium

Sometimes OurHouse gives Premium away for a while. If you have it, the Billing page shows when it ends, and you can subscribe before then to keep it.
