Buyers find agencies and agents in the Agencies directory, and from the agent panel on every listing. Here's what they see, and where each part comes from.
Your agency page
| Section | Comes from |
|---|---|
| Logo, name, brand colour, website and social links | Agency settings |
| Areas covered and REA licence | Agency settings |
| Phone and email (revealed on request) | Agency settings |
| Star rating and reviews | Buyers and sellers, after moderation |
| Branches, with areas served | Branches |
| Agents | Our Agents and each agent's settings |
| Current listings | Listings your agents have claimed or added |
The directory card shows your logo, a few of your agents and a few listings. Use View public page on the agency dashboard to check yours.
Agent pages
Each agent's page shows their photo, star rating, bio, the areas they cover, their specialities, languages, availability and REA licence, links to their website, social profiles, page on the agency's website and RateMyAgent, a What clients say section, their current listings and their reviews. All of it comes from their agent settings.
When agents open their own page, a note at the top says it's their public profile, with an Edit profile link. They also see Edit and Upload photo on their listings there; buyers don't.
On a listing
Every claimed listing shows a Real Estate Agent panel with the agent's photo, name, agency and bio, and a button that opens an email to the agent about that property, already filled in.
Contact details
Phone numbers and emails for agencies, branches and agents are hidden until a logged-in buyer asks to see them. That keeps them out of reach of spam bots, and each request counts as a contact request in your listing insights.
Reviews
- Logged-in users can leave one review for an agency, and one for each agent: a rating out of five, an optional title, and the review.
- People inside an agency (its owner, admins and agents) can't review it or its agents, so they don't see the Write a review prompt there.
- The OurHouse team checks every review before it's published.
- The average rating and number of reviews show at the top of the page.
- Reviewers can edit or delete their own review.
Please don't post reviews of your own agency or ask for fake ones. It's against the terms. If you think a review breaks the rules, contact the OurHouse team.
