My Properties lists the listings you've claimed or added. From here you add new listings, import several at once, and manage each one.
There are three ways to get a listing onto your list:
- Claim one that's already on OurHouse. Check here first, since many listings are imported automatically.
- Add a single listing.
- Import several from a CSV file.
Finding a listing
Filter the list by status with the tabs (For sale, Under offer, Sold, Off market), search by address or suburb, and sort by newest, recently updated or price. Each card shows the listing's status and how many watchlists it's saved to. Its boost line offers Boost for 7 days only when the boost would work; otherwise it says why. See the boost line.
Adding a listing
Choose + Add a listing and fill in:
- the address (picked from New Zealand address suggestions) and region,
- asking price, bedrooms, bathrooms and property type,
- a description.
Press Add listing. It's public straight away, with you as the listing agent. Add the rest of the details, photos and open homes from the edit page.
Importing from CSV
- Choose Import from CSV. If you need a starting point, use Download example CSV.
- Fill in one row per property. Columns: address (required), then optionally title, property_type, asking_price, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor_area_m2, land_area_m2, parking_description and description.
- Upload the file and press Upload and continue.
- On Review import, match each row to a verified address, check or correct the details, add a primary photo if you have one, and untick Include this row for any you want to skip.
- Press Import listings. Nothing is created until you do. Start over with a different file if something's wrong.
Imports count towards your agency's plan limit for active listings.
Editing a listing
Choose Edit on a listing in My Properties to reach the Edit listing page. Listing details come first; photos are below them. On a wide screen, open homes and boosts sit in a column on the right; on a phone they follow the photos. View listing opens the page buyers see.
- Listing details
- Title, address, suburb, territorial authority, region, asking price, sale type, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage spaces, floor and land area, property type, ownership type, build decade, parking, the original listing link, heating, insulation and description. Sale type suggests Asking price, By negotiation, Auction, Deadline sale and Tender; choosing auction, deadline or tender shows the matching date. Buyers see the original listing link as View original listing. Save changes stays at the bottom of your screen while you scroll the form.
- Photos
- Upload photos, choose the cover photo, and remove ones you don't want. A listing needs a photo before it can be boosted or spotlighted.
- Mark as sold / Mark as active
- Mark the listing sold once it's sold, and confirm. Buyers watching it are told. Switch it back if a sale falls through.
- Open homes
- Add each open home with its start time, an optional end time, and who's hosting. Buyers see them on the listing and can add them to their calendars. Remove one if plans change. Open homes imported from another site are marked Imported.
- Insights & buyer tools
- Performance figures, boosts, Spotlight, messaging watchers and open-home check-in. See Insights and buyer tools.
