OurHouse is where New Zealand buyers keep their shortlists. An agency account puts your listings, agents and offices in front of those buyers, and gives you tools to reach the ones who are already watching your listings.

Who's who

Everyone in an agency logs in with their own OurHouse account and has one of three roles.

RoleWhat they can do
Owner Everything an admin can, plus choosing and paying for the agency's plan and adding or removing admins. Each agency has one owner. The person who claimed the account.
Admin Runs the agency day to day: agents, branches, listings, appraisal leads and agency settings.
Agent Lists properties for the agency: claims or adds listings, runs open homes and keeps their own public profile up to date.

Agency accounts don't have buyer features such as watchlists, and don't pay for Premium. The agency's plan covers everyone in it.

Owners and admins see the agency menu, headed with the agency's name:

Everyone also has the header. Search, notifications, light/dark mode. And the account menu behind their avatar, with Profile, Settings, Notifications, Invoices, Help and Contact us (a form to message the OurHouse team). See Your account.

Setting up, in order

  1. Request an agency account and claim it once it's approved.
  2. Choose a plan (owner only).
  3. Add your logo and details in Settings.
  4. Add your branches.
  5. Invite your agents, and any admins.
  6. Agents claim or add their listings.
  7. Boost a listing.

The setup guide on the agency dashboard tracks these for you.
